Deacon’s Ministries
Our dedicated team of Deacons are here to offer relational or prayer support. We also do visitation and offer communion for those either temporarily or permanently unable to participate in our worship services. If you are going through a difficult time or need encouragement or support, we don’t want you to struggle alone. Please reach out to our deacon team.
Joy Reflected
For women of all ages who have lost a spouse, we provide a space for sharing the grieving process and finding hope and encouragement in the Lord. Once a month, we welcome women who have lost their husbands to a special luncheon, regardless of church affiliation or time elapsed since their loss. This is a safe and caring space to share a meal, enjoy uplifting conversation, and find new friendships.
Prayer Shawl Ministries
Calling all knitters and crocheters! If you know of someone who needs to be reminded of our church’s love and prayers for them, we have an inventory of prayer shawls to warm those in need of encouragement. We meet every third Thursday of the month from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at ELMO Pres. Please join us!
Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer to bring change, healing, and new life in Christ. We have a prayer team committed to pray for you or with you. Please fill out the prayer request form or consider joining the prayer team. (link) Prayer time before worship at 9:00 a.m. in the Fireside room just off the narthex. Please join us as we pray for our church family, those who are unable to attend in person, and our morning worship. All are welcome.
